A proof-of-work chain that's live β and that your phone can verify, trusting no one.
reading the live chainβ¦
Most chains ask you to trust a website or an explorer. WakeChain ships a light client that runs in your browser β it verifies proof-of-work headers from the pinned genesis, cross-checks a second independent node on another continent, and proves a coin exists (or a fake one doesn't) against a committed root β every hash on your own device.
Every essential protection a sovereign ledger needs (value conservation, real 256-bit proof-of-work, most-work fork choice, encrypted keys, RFC-6979 signing) β then attacked relentlessly. Around a dozen real vulnerabilities were found and fixed in the reference implementation; the light verifier itself survived two rounds of adversarial audit before this page went up. The record, not a slogan, is the argument.
Merged mining lets it inherit a parent chain's hashpower β no cold-start miner problem, still sovereign proof-of-work.
An optional M-of-N recovery + anti-scam layer that protects, never seizes β bounded so it can't become the third party it set out to remove.
It is: a live, distributed sovereign chain on two always-on nodes (Frankfurt + Malaysia), reachable and verifiable from any phone, with real cryptography end-to-end.
It is NOT, yet: economically secure at scale β that needs more independent nodes, real hashpower (merged mining against a live parent), and a community. This is a live testnet, not a mainnet holding value. Everything here says exactly what it proves and where it stops.
